INTRODUCING
It all began with a bunch of 0's and 1's. My father rooted me into networking and IT as a child. My love for electronics, retro-style gaming and music brewed the perfect storm that developed my passion for high end audio/video and control systems. I began with custom av integration nearly 20 years ago, and since relocating back to Atlanta earlier this year, I find myself just entering my prime while being surrounded by the friends and family that I grew up with.

Beginning at Sound Advice, I was blessed with one of the best trainers in the industry guiding me. Since then, I've completed installations all over the US and Europe and am very comfortable working in exceedingly high end and delicate environments.
While serving at Acoustic Architects, I took on an engineering role and trained in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio. I became familiar and proficient creating documentation for sizable centralized lighting projects, wire pull schedules, rack diagrams and elevations.
Starting out programming Philips Pronto remotes for Sound Advice, I eventually advanced to more complex control systems, and became certified in Savant, Crestron & Lutron while exploring others in my free time such as RTI, Control4, and Elan G.
Teaching myself to code and understand databases, various languages, and how to make them work has proven greatly beneficial. I'm currently practiced writing in HTML/5, PHP, MySQL Databases, some JavaScript, and CSS3.
I've always prided myself on my ability to teach others a trade that outside of CEDIA, has no official school or academy. I am a firm believer that anyone can learn anything, and have assisted installers to eventually graduate to programmers and project managers.
Probably my best natural born talent, trouble shooting not only the technical aspects of a complex system, but excelling at problem solving differences between sub contractors, scheduling and sticky deadlines has always come easy. There's a solution for everything.

Client: Duffy's Sports Grill
After completing my 15th Duffy's Sports Grill location, it's safe to say I have perfected these sports bar TV control systems down to a science. Each location houses 100+ displays, all controlled from a RTI control system via a single iPad interface. Very self explanatory and easy to use interface. I am able to tackle these large systems in 2 days or less now. The system developed is very cookie cutter and can be deployed extremely fast. The only service calls I get are when the client loses thier iPad. Robust and reliable.

This home is powered by a Savant control system, running on (at the time the latest version 8.0) Each room has either an iPad or Savant remote interface to control the system. There are multiple surround sound zones, house audio, full Lutron centralized lighting, HVAC control, security and surveillance integration. Of course, all of this is available to the client remotely as well. Savant programming and deployment time trumps any other control system on the market by 10 fold. It is by far my favorite platform to program for.

This client is developing new buildings and real estate all across south Florida. They wanted a high tech and eye catching video wall display installed in their main office. There is a scaled down model of the new high rise being built, and a projector that highlights each floor of the building, as each floor is highlighted, the display wall shows all types of images and information pertaining to that particular floor. This installation was extremely fun and challenging.

This is the first phase of a large luxury residential automation system located in Miami Beach. I treat every phase of a project with the same level of detail and scrutiny, not just the final. Every wire premapped in a wirepull schedule created in AutoCAD. It made it extremely easy for the installers to pull cable and label without guess work. When the first stage of a project is carefully executed, it sets up a momentum for the remainder that allows for very few errors.

Live DemoWhile visting Japan this year, I was gifted with a Japanese Nintendo 3DS. Something I've been after for a very long time. Well, just having it wasn't enough. I needed to hack it, and break it's encryption so that I could load my own code and in return, load backup games, homebrew software, and other fun things. The only problem was that I didn't have a laptop of any kind with me for the trip. Creativity and innovation is driven by necessity and limited resources. I managed to use my old Sony android phone to completely open the device to custom software.

This yacht was fabricated and located in Viareggio Italy. I spent many months there working on it. The client was quite mysterious and no one on board was ever able to meet him. The automation system was powered by Series 3 Crestron processors, and DIN-Rail AP3 lighting system. It was challenging due to the language restraints, tight spaces, and even tighter installation schedules. I picked up some survival Italian while there, and managed to complete the project. It has 4 floors, motorized lifts everywhere, several media rooms and surrouns systems, and a mini boat on the bottom level.

RTI has powered many of my larger commercial projects including Duffys Sports Grill. This particular photo is an example of one of the central Florida locations for Duffy's. 15 XP-8s processors are utilized for controlling all 123 displays. Infrared control was utilized over RS232 after RTI struggled with 100+ RS232 connections simutaneously in one location. I have a strong background in RTI programming and 2-way driver development using their API. I have confidence in deploying it to any client residential or commercial.

When I moved to my new apartment, I wanted to install a great sounding and looking system, but I wanted it to be extremely sleek and minimalist. This was my end result, although it continues to evolve each and every day. I am currently running a 65" LG 4K display, Marantz NR1605 slim line 4K receiver, powering 4 Polk Monitor Series II towers, matching center and PSW10 subwoofer I built undernearth my side table. Sources include a modified PS3, PS4, Asus gaming laptop, Retron5 console, and a Nvidia Shield TV. The results were outstanding, and I've eliminated almost 100% of visible wiring.
Growing up, video games and music have always held a special place in my heart. In the last few years I have reinvented myself physically and now focus on proper nutrition and fitness. I've studied the Japanese language and culture for some years now, and have always been fascinated by computers, software, and anything similar.
